Number plate bracket, spacer and reflector parts, DR800SL
#1
Hi. I've removed the Scottoiler remote reservoir from the rear of my DR800SL and am hoping someone might be able to help me with a number plate bracket, spacer, reflector bracket and reflector to return the rear end to stock.
(Parts numbered 10, 16, 19 and 21 in the attached pic).
If anyone can, please let me know.
Thanks for looking,
Chris

The bracket and reflector  are still available from Suzuki at £19 and £25 each.
The cushion is not available any more and the extender bracket for the reflector was an optional extra at the time and hasn`t been available for about 30 years.
I think I may have some or all of the above in my spares emporium but it might take me a while to find them so don`t hold your breath.

I`ve managed to locate all of these items, though with 5 Bigs to maintain I`m not desperate to lose them.

Hi Bob.
Thanks for the reply.
No worries if you don't want to part with your items.
The important bits are the number plate bracket and cushion really.
I can get the number plate bracket from Suzuki.
If you could tell me the dimensions of the cushion I'll make something suitable.
I'll make a reflector bracket from a piece of aluminium sheet.
Where would the reflector have been mounted without the extender bracket? Surely the number plate would have been in the way?
Regards,
Chris

The reflector is incorporated in the rear light lens so not needed in the UK but some other countries insisted on a separate reflector.
You can have all these bits for £20 plus p&p.
