Hi All
I have a dr600 with a cracked cylinder head between spark plug hole and valve. Have been quoted £150 to 200 to repair! Some people have said it's ok to run as is, but wondered what the general opinion was. Obviously would be nice if repaired, but funds are short! Have a picture but not sure how to upload!
Thanks Mike

I would be tempted to use it as it is, as it doesn`t look like the crack can go any further.
The 600 is getting quite rare now, so picking up another head may no be so easy.
I was very fond of my old 600 and wish I`d never sold it. It also had the worst front brake ever!

Thanks. That was my thought. Very rare in UK, but a few more in Europe- if only we were still part of it ! My xt500 scores pretty high on the crap front brake scale.?
