DR in Cork
#1
Further to my ramblings in 'Whose on here' I got home to Cork and been able to tackle fuel leak & brakes. Mr H Lime has been most helpful and the writings of that wise old sage Big Bob have proved invaluable.

Basically the usual carb overhaul issues (Well covered elsewhere on this forum), fuel lines awaiting excuse to fry my undercarriage and knackered mastercylinder.

Despite a miserable return journey and issues mentioned, the bike ran sweet and straight the 700 odd kilometres home. Comparing it to my XRV750, its noticeably lighter and easily upset by crosswinds in comparison. It plods along nicely around 80/100kph which suits me fine. The Honda is much more comfortable and tractable on road upto 100/120kph on the road.

Anyway, I'm glad I got it as I want it for the mountain boreens and trails of West Cork & Kerry. I got a set of TKC80's fitted so hope to get out west soon with Mr Lime camping and sampling a beer or three...
