MPH Speedo & Tacho Gauge Faces
#1
Hi Y'all

I've been in touch with Venoxy that make speedo & Tacho faces for the DR800 but at present only in KPH.

They are willing to make MPH ones for us, but would like an idea of how many people are interested. They can do them in a black or white face

Website  https://venoxy.com/en/

Can you let me know who is interested

Cheers
Steve

Hello
If there is enough interest I can prepare MPH replacements for your km/h gauges. I would suggest replacing both gauge faces rather than just the speedo to avoid differences in color and finish.
Let me know how many people are interested and I'll let you know about the prices.
Best regards

I have some spares leftover from when I did mine if you want one? Not professional, but pretty okay

Hello
I would be interested if they fit my model, it's a 1993 German SR43B. How much do you want for one ?

Drop me a pm with your address and I'll just pop one in the post, they're spare, so happy to help

Venoxy sounds like something you rub on the Gentlemans area after an encounter with an old slapper?

Post a pic of the new gauges Captain.

Has anyone tried one of these?

I looked at them, seems a nice, simple solution, but I didn't like how small the swing on the needle would be - couldn't help thinking it would be hard to be even vaguely accurate when glancing down?

Yeah, that was one of my concerns also. Another problem could be the additional cable length and trying to hide it.

I have my phone on usually on Google maps and that gives me an accurate speed indication

Cheers

PS How do you get into the speedo casing? Is it just patience folding back the metal at the back?

Just that - I used a butterknife, wrapped in a cloth to prevent marking
