Me and my neighbour lifted the engine out easily enough. Didn't have to worry about the frame then . Going to rap rags around it for install. It's a lot lighter than a BIG lump. Powder coating firms seem to plug all threaded holes but leaves the engine bolt holes open, so I've got to clean the powder out off them :? I should has asked them to plug'um.
Brake calipers next, new s/s pistons, rubber boots, seals, s/s bleed screws, pins & pads.
I'm still enjoying doing the work, maybe because I haven't gone at it to fast.
Soon be summer !
Forgot to tell my guy about the bolt holes mmmn a call is in order lol.

At a guess I'd say 70kg?
She's a weighty lass alright!
EDIT, I'm 11 kg off, tis 59ish kg without oil.

I'll put my engine on the scales (the ones I use to tell me I'm now a fat barstuard) and see how heavy. It'll be interesting to see.

I bought the the wrong header

The Hessler header, doesn't fit ny new Marving tail pipe. But it does fit nicely over my original rusty header.
They said it would fit.
Anyone need a sexy header..........going cheap.

My clocks are the top, KMH ones. I bought the bottom set for 20 quid with the idea of swapping them over (clocks from bottom set into the shroud)

Wasn't aware, untill removal, that one mount was broken. The clocks I bought have been repaired as well, but are very solid.

If you need to repair plastic then use Plastex not glue. It`s brilliant stuff, but not cheap.
Works on ABS plastics but not some others.
