Wanted for a Twin Tank ,1989. Swing arm ,prepared to re paint. If it’s cruddy.
Thanks all.
Had a clearout earlier this year and binned about 6 s/arms as I didn`t think they would be of any use. Typical!
The s/arm on the DR650 1990-95 is identical if that helps.
Thanks Bob, that broadens the search. I presume all bearings ,which I shall be changing are as per s42 also?
Many thanks.
Yep Thumbup

Sacrilege!!!
Confusedilent:
I had a huge amount of Big stuff stored in a lock up for many years.
Unfortunately the owners of the lock up sold out to a bunch of London spivs who trebled the rent and expected me to pay for a new roof it didn`t need.
Of course, I told them to do one, but I just don`t have the space at home so lots of heavy metal parts like frame, swingers and wheels got scrapped.
Most of it I`d had over twenty years so it was unlikely to ever be used. I just couldn`t bear to throw Big stuff away. Still have twenty tanks in my attic though. Banghead
Sacrilege? Tell that to the gangsters who wanted to fleece me of my pension. Wink

If you have a clean rhs red 89 750 tank you're interested in selling I'd buy it
Where did you amass all these bits from Bob?
Btw if i remember correctly you bought one brand new yeah? Have you any pics of 80's Bob on his new from Hamamatsu big? :D
Also did you ever encounter any trock factory bits like the kickstart case, rear tanks etc?
Did you buy a new one back in the day, Bob?
.....and have been riding them ever since?
Cool, yeah - got any pics of all your Bigs, especially early ones scanned from an 80`s Trueprint photo, they`re always good to have a gander at!!

(i wish `id bought a new Big back in the day, really enjoying mine now, and it would of been a much better choice than that dull GS550 i opted for........)
Yep, bought one from new. In fact, I bought several, and worn them all out with lots of miles.
Picked up lots of wrecked/knackered ones as well since then which I`ve broken up for spares.
All the tanks need stripping/filling/painting and I`m not really interested in trying to find a box big enough for posting.
Don`t know why I`ve kept them really, I just couldn`t throw them all away. Banghead
