Hi Guys
Anybody got a decent decompresser relay for a 1990 sr42 dr800 for sale at a decent price, mine keeps playing up.
someone said i can bypass it, does anybody know how? thanks. Banghead
What do you mean by relay ??? just find where the two wires coming out of the loom into the decomp switch are and join them ,simpleees :wtf: you can do the same for the side stand switch
You mean the matchbox sized black box in a black rubber boot behind the battery box?
Part no 32104-44B00 priced £94.66 Banghead
I`ve got a spare you can have for a tenner.
Are you sure it`s that and not a faulty starter button or starter relay?
As Spen says, join up all decompressor, clutch switch and side stand wires as it leaves less to go wrong.

Thanks for the replies guys. That is the one the number is the same and it hangs down under the battery tray, its intermittent, i have cleaned and checked all the starter switch, earths, etc and replaced the stater solenoid. done the ohms checks etc as per the suzuki manual and it is all pointing to the damn decomp relay. i will have that spare one from you if i can. please let me know how you wish to do it, im in the uk and can do bank transfer, post a postal order or paypal or ebay it and ill buy it now and pay the post and your cost's that way. im easy just private message me and we can do it asap, thanks. i just want to get my leg back over the bike. I will look into the cut and joining wires later on as me and wiring are not a good mix. Thanks. I will check back in next 24 hours to see. many thanks paul. Thumbup
you don"t need to be good with wiring ,just find where the switch connects into the loom and join the connector there making a circuit Thumbup
